Well, 2015 has been a very busy year and the wedding season is almost over. Having said that, I still have weddings booked through to October and no doubt, there will be the last minute winter weddings. I'm never sure if I like winter weddings, the photographs can be great, but the temperatures and frostbite in the fingers are quite another matter. 2016 is looking like another busy year and there's even some bookings in already, for 2017.
It seems like I've spent the entire summer (what we've had of it) sitting at my new Apple computer, editing photographs and creating slideshows, the first is a task but, the slideshows, I absolutely love creating. I've actually got round to uploading a sample slideshow which you can find in the Menu, under Portfolio.
The great thing about being a reportage wedding photographer is that I see and get to photograph so many fantastic locations and ideas put together by each couple, such as photographs inside the Hearts football ground, with the Scottish Cup, which took some arranging but the Owner and Directors made it happen, for this lucky couple.
Then there was the Bride who arrived at her wedding by Speedboat at Duck Bay on Loch Lomond, quite an entrance and a surprise for all her guests, in the background.
The beautiful setting at The Jedburgh Abbey Hotel near the Abbey ruins.
And, I'll never forget the little girl, who completely stole the show at Mum & Dad's wedding in the MacDonald Hollyrood Hotel, Edinburgh.
