Born in Edinburgh, my hobby, from the age of 10, was photography. When I left school, I attended Napier University, studying professional photography and after graduating, I secured a position with one of Edinburgh's most respected photography studios, where I obtained my first introduction to wedding photography.

My photography career includes Company Photographer with a major house builder in Scotland and over 8 years with Canon and Kodak. I became a self-employed, freelance photographer in 1999 when I established Scot Wed Photos, to specialise in photographing weddings.

As a specialist wedding photographer, my approach to wedding photography is all about capturing the essence of the wedding day with a mixture of reportage, classic and contemporary photographs, much in the style of Yervant. The many testimonials I've received, from delighted, newly wed's in Scotland, England and Europe, is testament to my skill, ability and commitment to customer satisfaction.

My professional but relaxed and friendly approach to photographing weddings is much appreciated by brides and grooms. I like to put the couple at ease and allow them to enjoy their wedding day, rather than making it an all day photo shoot.

Always aware that I'm part of a team of people ensuring your wedding day runs smoothly, I liaise with officials, drivers and hotel management to make sure everyone is happy. My style and commitment to client satisfaction has made me, one of the most popular wedding photographers in Scotland and has also taken me abroad, to photograph weddings in Europe.

I photograph many weddings each year and already have bookings for 2018. I would urge you to contact me, even if you're not ready to book yet, to find out if I'm available for your wedding and also ask any questions you may have. I can then pencil your wedding into my diary, while you make your final decision, but don't leave it too long, I have to disappoint many couples, every year.
